Emrich-Schönleber presented the best Collection at the "Gutswein" in Berlin last week-end. In general his Riesling from the parcel "Frühlingsplätzchen" is more floral, feminine in contrast to the powerful, mineral-driven Riesling of the other parcel "Halenberg". Surprisingly this year the Frühlingsplätzchen is more powerful and mineral-driven than in previous years. Lovely mineral nose. Attractive sour lemon kick on the palate with some floral elements. Very refreshing due to the big acidity and a fine minerality.  I love these Kabinett Rieslings, so wonderful crisp, light-on-its-feet, uncomplicated, food-friendly and relatively cheap.
