Lanson, “Black Label” NV, Champagne, France
First, this is not a Krug, Bollinger, Salon or Selosse. But a solid easy-drinking champagne and much better than the basic Roederer a few weeks ago.
Beautiful bronze colour with a very nice perlage. Pears, mokka, blossoms and solid body. Of course, not a big complexity, but on the other hand this bubble-water is simply “süffig”. As my better half loves to drink champagne, I will have a bottle Lanson “Black Label” in my fridge every day for the future. For around 20 € it is okay, but not okay is 35-40 € for Roeder with inferior quality.
