Normally, I do not drink so often Chardonnay, as the famous Chardonnays from Burgundy are hard to find and often priceless, too.  This Chardonnay from the famous producer Rebholz is considered to be one the best of its kind from Germany.

Opulent bouquet of vanilla, butter, nuts and melon. Full-bodied chardonnay with rich flavors of nuts, melon and shortpastry.   A fine minerality + acidity in the background gives this chardonnay the necessary freshness and a certain lightness of being. Of course, at this stage very oaky, but no doubt in 5-10 years the oak is perfectly integrated and this white-wine will set a new benchmark for german Chardonnay . Remarkable lingering finish and the opulence is addictive. Such kind of Chardonnay is a real pleasure.......
